Anyone can champion a cause.

Whether you’re speaking out to improve education, income and health, reaching out to members of Congress, or wearing the LIVE UNITED shirt to show your support, you can help inspire hope and create opportunities for a better tomorrow. So go ahead and advocate in a LIVE UNITED world. Do it in public. Be visible. Be loud.

There are many ways that you can advocate. See below for ways you can create social change in your local community:

Speak out

Contact your local municipality, City Counsel, Board of Education about an Education, Income, Health or nonprofit strengthening issue.  State Representatives or Congress can also be contacted as a resource regarding any social or economic issues of concern.

Be informed

Learn about causes you care about and spread the word.  Attend local city and town meetings, find out about association meetings affiliated with charities or causes that concern you or go to the library to research information.

Engage with your community

Host a community conversation with your friends, co-workers or neighbors. Learn about what people say are their aspirations for your community and talk about how you can work together to address challenges.

Raise Awareness About a Cause

Use social media tools to educate your friends and networks about an issue you care about.
