Community Partner Funding Cycle Information

United Way of West Central Connecticut is pleased to announce the 2025-2026 Community Impact Funding application is now open.

The deadline for all applications is Thursday, January 30 at midnight. If any application is received after the deadline, they will not be considered.

If you serve on a nonprofit Board of Directors or if you are a nonprofit professional reading this email, please be sure to share that applications are now open with your team.

United Way of West Central Connecticut will only accept applications through the provided Google Form link. The individual completing the form will need a Google Account. If you do not have one, you will be prompted to create one before beginning the application. 

The 2025-2026 Community Impact grant will be for 1 (one) year only. 


Grant Guidelines


United Way of West Central Connecticut is dedicated to being a caring and committed community partner. Please review our program areas and eligibility requirements before submitting your application.

Grants are not limited to nonprofit social service organizations. Any area nonprofit, meeting the eligibility requirements, that supports United Way of West Central Connecticut's focus areas will be considered.

Focus Areas Our grant-making priorities are focused on nonprofit agencies that support the community. We fund organizations that have a mission and programming addressing one or more of these focus areas.

• Healthy Community - The vision is that individuals and families are healthy, safe, and thriving. 
• Youth Opportunity - The vision is that youth and adults avoid risky behaviors and make positive choices. 
• Financial Security - The vision is that individuals and families achieve economic stability and security. 


Eligibility 

To be considered for a grant, organizations must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:

• Applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
• Applicant must be located in or provide direct services to United Way of West Central Connecticut's service area - Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, and Plymouth/Terryville.
