31 Years of Caring - Annual Day of Caring May 19

Day of Caring began in 1992 as a way to connect employees of local corporations with human service agencies that United Ways support.

Thirty-one years later, this annual event offers hundreds of people, of all ages, the opportunity to volunteer at non-profit agencies in the communities of Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, and Plymouth. Last year United Way of West Central Connecticut had over 300 volunteers at thirty locations throughout our four towns. Volunteers mulched and cleaned garden beds, picked up litter, painted porches, organized food pantry shelves, and more!

This year's Day of Caring will be held Friday, May 19 and we're looking forward to another successful day of Living United! For information on volunteering or being a volunteer site, please email Manny Martinez at mmartinez@uwwestcentralct.org.
